Crok Ciné presented the Metro Goncourt literary prize of middleschoolers at the Voltaire Middle School, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, with the wonderful film "Atrapaluz / Suncatcher" by Kim Torres, selected for the Locarno Film Festival 2021.  

Kim Torres is a Costa Rican screenwriter and director whose short film "Atrapaluz" tells the story of Lila, a socially awkward girl who one day is invaded by a mysterious light. She encounters its source, a cyborg who comes to remind her of who she was in a previous life.

This magnificent film echoes the award-winning "La Cage", Emma Seguès's first book, through its themes of identity and dystopia.
